Week 1
I’m very excited to announce that I will be participating in The Better Homes and Garden Fall 2020 One Room Challenge as a guest participant. An entryway is one of the most important parts of a home. It can subconsciously effect our emotions every time you enter your home. Each time I came home I wished I had the time and energy to create a welcoming entryway. So, now that I telecommute and have more energy to dedicate, I’ve decided to revamp my entryway as part of the One Room Challenge.

First, let me start off by saying, “I know my entryway is a hot mess.” It’s cold and not welcoming AT ALL, so I apologize in advance if you feel sadden when looking at my before pictures.

High level overview of my One Room Challenge consist of new wall color, lighting, flooring, stair railing, change the makeshift closet door and entryway to the upstairs living quarters, plus visual interest to a plain boring wall. Each week, I’ll post a “todo” list and progress pictures. So, how do you follow my progress?
