I talk about galley kitchens all the time. They are my most ideal kitchen layout. I previously hand drew a scaled version of this layout, now it’s digitized.
.
Whenever we figure out the location of our forever home, I’m about 95% sure it’s going to have a galley kitchen like this. Believe it or not, this kitchen has a full size refrigerator and tall wine refrigerator, dishwasher, pantry and full size stove. Plus it opens up into an eating nook with floor to ceiling accordion doors. A girl and her dreams.

We are in Week 3 of the #oneroomchallenge and My kitchen island is back in stock! Now I’m patiently waiting for my tracking info from #homedepot

I can not wait to sip tea while sitting on my new island. I’m also thinking about getting a pair of those mugs. 😀

In this weeks recap I took small steps, but made a huge impact. I did pick up my counter tops, but will install them this week.

Major high was getting my cabinets organized and functional. I haven’t gotten all of my cabinet accessories from The Container Store, but I organized with what I had. Swipe for a sneak peek.

I’m sure you have seen or even scrolled through the #100DayProject Welp, I’m going to take the challenge myself by creating 100 different floor plans. While some floor plans may contain an entire house, most will be single rooms. Space planning and flow are both essential parts of Interior Design. I want to master the technical and visual aspects of this industry.

My 100 Days won’t be daily, but they will be consistent and under the hashtag #100DayFloorplanProjectXO

Did you know that bubble diagrams are a great way to help figure out flow? If you are missing flow, chances are you are missing function and organization as well.

Remember when I said my tea kettle needed a home?

Remember when I said my tea kettle needed a home? Welp, here it is. It’s a cabinet I plan on building. I figured if @homedepot cuts all of my wood to measurement, it shouldn’t be that hard to put together, right? We will find out at the very end of this project.

This is a hutch that will sit on top of the cabinet next to the sink. It will be the last project that I tackle in this kitchen makeover.
